Based on the official news, I upgrade MT4 Beta Unofficial blog to Beta7 without any problems.

Even so many new features implement into MT, there are still many know issues.

1. Windows Vista and IIS Support - There is a known bug in IIS 7 that prevents all but the last cookie sent by a browser to actually be set. This affects all web applications deployed on IIS 7. This does not affect Windows Vista users using Apache, and it does not affect users using Windows Vista to access an MT blog not hosted under IIS7.

The good news is I can use the templates designed for MT4.

This time Beta 6 released.
I upgrade this Unofficial blog to Beta 6.

Nothing special.
The upgrade procedure is same as Beta 5

MT4 is beta5 now. This Unofficial site is upgrade to beta 5 as usual.

The news from the official blog said:

I do like to keep this Unofficial site upgrade.

Nothing better than waiting the final release.

The Beta 4 has released on June 27. I have no time to upgrade it. Because I just made a brand new site, G2 Links Directory. It is a human edited website directory. Family friendly. Until now, it is free to sumbit your site. If you have a site, don't waste time, just go there to Submit your site.

OK, let me make a note of this upgrade from beta 3  to beta 4.

1) Download tar file from the official site, or MT-4.0-beta4-20070627.tar.gz

2) Upload this tar file to the site hosted on Dreamhost.

3) Use PUTTY to login SSH end.

4) Run command

tar xvzf MT-4.0-beta4-20070627.tar.gz

cd MT-4.0-beta4-20070627

cp -r -f . ../mtcgi/

My installation is in /mtcgi/

5) All done. Just login into the MovableType backend.
